Powers this site
Allodium
My CMS builder for creating an admin around a site's own data. This website is its first from-scratch implementation.
Build the CMS your site needs
Allodium is the CMS builder I created and used to power AdamAronoff.com. It provides the pieces for database access, authentication, file storage, and content administration in a Next.js and PostgreSQL application.
Two different jobs, two interfaces
A developer console is used to work with the data and define admin views. The site's own admin gives an editor a more focused interface for everyday content work. Both work with the same underlying data.
In use right here
The blog and the shared portfolio/playground collection on this site run through Allodium. I can edit records, attach images, save drafts, preview saved content, and publish it through the admin.
This site is also a practical test of the toolkit: a real project feeding usability improvements and bug fixes back into the CMS builder.
